YOUTH CHOIR at MCMC

This year's youth choir program will consist of two 10-week terms—the first a 'traditional' choral experience and the second a musical theater experience. Students can enroll in just one semester but enrollment in both is highly encouraged as the skills and knowledge from the first semester will help prepare singers to be more independent in their musical theater roles.​

 

The first two weeks of rehearsals, singers are welcome to come 'try it out' before they commit.
(Go ahead and register so we know to expect you—no payment is required with registration.)

Fall Semester - 'Traditional' Choir Experience

  • 10 weeks: October 5 - December 14

  • CONCERT: Sunday, December 17, 4:00pm, tickets $5

  • OPTIONAL PERFORMANCES -
    Community Caroling Friday, November 24 (evening);
    Library Open House, December 2nd (morning)

  • $10 uniform shirt purchase (+ your own black pants or skirt/tights and shoes)

 

Kinder Choir (PreK/K) -  Wednesday 3:45 - 4:15 - Tuition $100 ($33/month)

Medesimo (1st & 2nd) - Thursday 4:00 - 4:45 - Tuition $150 ($50/month)

Melodie (3rd - 5th) - Thursday 4:30 - 5:30 - Tuition $180 ($60/month)

Musica (6th - 8th) - Thursday 5:15 - 6:30 - Tuition $225 ($75/month)

Spring Semester - Musical Theater Experience

  • 1st grade through 8th grade

  • 10 weeks: February 1 - April 12

  • Final Performance: Sunday, April 14 (afternoon) (dress rehearsal April 13), tickets $7

  • All costumes costs are included with tuition

​

  • Fridays 4:00 - 6:00 - Tuition $200 ($67/month)

(rehearsals will be divided into segments, and younger students

will have shorter rehearsal times until the last few weeks)

Kinder Choir - PreK/K

10 weeks: February 1 - April 11

Final Performance: Sunday, April 14 (afternoon)
